Find out the area on which the force is applied ,if 50n force is applied on a box and it experiences a pressure of 25 n/m2

Formula :


Pressure = force / area


Given  :


Force = 50 N

Pressure = 25 N/m²


Calculate the area


25 N / m² = 50 N / area

= > area = 50 N / 25 N / m²

= > area = 2 m²

The area is 2 m²

Pressure is force acting per unit area of object .

i.e P = F/A
where
P - pressure
F - Force acting on object
A - Area

A = F/P
A = 50/25
A = 2 m²
