As temperature and rainfall is important factor for forest's growth it did not grow in the regions where there is lack of available water or dry climate i.e in the arid regions. Forests did not grow in the snow covered mountain ranges where temperature is too cold for them.

As temperature and rainfall is important factor for forest's growth it did not grow in the regions where there is lack of available water or dry climate i.e in the arid regions. Forests did not grow in the snow covered mountain ranges where temperature is too cold for them. Also it did not grow in the sandy or rocky deserts where temperature is too dry for them. Also it dint grow in the sandy sea coasts.
