Answer

Let the total distance travelled be x km Then total time taken = 10x/3+20x/3+60x/3=30x+60x+180x

=1806x+3x+x=18010x=18x hrs Then average speed = =TotaltimetakenTotaldistancetravelled

=x/18x km/hr = 18 km/hr

Average speed =total distance/total time

Total distance=3miles

T1=1/10

T2=1/8

T3=1/6

average speed= total distance/total time

=3/1/10+1/8+1/6

=3/24/240+30/240+40/240

3/94/240

=3.240/94

= 7.65mile /hr
