Divide 15 successively by 2,and note down the remainders so formed in each step . Binary number would be the last quotient with remainders in reverse order.

15/2 = 7 r1=1

7/2 =3 r2=1

3/2 =1 r3 =1.

So the Binary equivalent of 15= 1111
