Find out the consumption in a month at Rs 4 per kwh ,when 6 Bulbs of 100watt are used 8hrs a day?

Hey.

Power of each bulb = 100 W

no. of bulb = 6

duration of use = 8 hr daily

So, Daily Energy consumption = 8×6×100

= 4800 W h

= 4.8 kWh daily

So for a month = 30×4.8 = 144 kWh

As Rs 4 / kWh is the rate

so, total cost = 4×144 = Rs 576
