<OAB=90 (radius perpendicular tangent)
and in right angle ∆OAB
by Pythagoras theorem
OB^2=AB^2+OA^2
10^2=8^2+OA^2
100=64+OA^2
100-64=OA^2
36=OA^2
✓36=OA
6=OA
OA=6
Radius=6cm
and diameter =2radius
diameter=12cm
