Within the context of nation, what you say is probably correct. But we are not the only nation and ultimately diversity is present in the world. We are more compassionate and accommodating others and that does help in being a good world citizen. A lot of single-religion and a single-language countries are struggling across the world. So, that is also not that beneficial as you seem to believe. Ultimately, you got what you got and it is upto the citizens and their representatives to make it a strength or a weakness. I think it is a strength. We are surviving and thriving without alienating any major community or country. It is slower than other countries but the falling of nations with single identity is also faster as they end up alienating themselves from other nations.
