1.2a is the current of this circuit

The circuit is an example of a balanced wheatstone bridge because:

 \frac{10}{25} =  \frac{2}{5}

 \frac{2}{5} =  \frac{2}{5}

∴ No current flows throught the central branch.

Now, 10 ohm and 2 ohm resistors are connected in series

∴ Net resistance = 12 ohm

Similarly, 25 ohm and 5 ohm are in series

∴ Net resistance = 30 ohm

Now,

12 ohm and 30 ohm are connected in parallel

∴ Ratio of current in each branch = 30:12 = 5:2

⇒ Current through 2 ohm =  \frac{5}{7} × 1.4 = 1A

This is the correct answer.

MARK ME AS BRAINLIEST PLEASE

omprakashprakash: sorry,I am not satisfied your answer
Normal0Student: I'm amazed tbh
Normal0Student: You were satisfied with a one line answer, but not a detailed step-by-step answer?
hemantrinwa: what are you saying about me?
Normal0Student: Nothing, I was talking about the person who asked the question
hemantrinwa: I am the person
Normal0Student: Are you implying that you were the person who answered the question as well as asked it?
hemantrinwa: yes
Normal0Student: Reported
omprakashprakash: 5/7×1.4=1A or 2/7×1.4=0.4A
