The answer is 4.65696 × 10⁸

GIVEN

(560000) × (7.7 × 108)

TO FIND

Exponent in scientific notation.

SOLUTION

We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

560000× 7.7×108

= 560000× 831.6

= 465,696,000

To convert into scientific notation;

The standard form of scientific notation is - a × 10ⁿ

Where,

a is greater than or equal to 1 but less than 10.

n = integer.

To move the decimal to left side,

Positive sign of exponent is used and the integer is the number to which decimal is moved.

In this case - 465,696,000 to move the decimal in the left side -

465,696,000/ 100000000

= 4.65696 × 10⁸

Hence, The answer is 4.65696 × 10⁸
