• The leather bag is made from hides of almost any animal like pigs, sheep, goats, and crocodiles. However, most commonly hides are used from the cow.

• First, the skin is removed which is done by machine,  then its placed in a salt brine, which stops it from decomposing. After which it put into a chemical solution containing Calcium oxide.  

• As this process softens the hide and then its washed and bathed as to make it thick and then the hide is separated into parts and split form upper and lower ends.

• Thus the finished product is made is either a bag or coat or a shoe or a small purse.
