Answer:

Explanation:

Given,

  • Mass of the body, m = 3000 kg
  • Velocity of the body, v = 60 km/h = 50/3 m/s

To Find,

  • Kinetic energy, K.E

Formula to be used,

  • Kinetic energy = 1/2 × mv²

Solution,

Putting all the values, we get

Kinetic energy = 1/2 × mv²

⇒ Kinetic energy = 1/2 × 3000 × (50/3)²

⇒ Kinetic energy = 1500 × 50/3 × 50/3

⇒ Kinetic energy = 1500 × 277.77

Kinetic energy = 416666.67 J

Hence, the kinetic energy of the body is 416666.67 J.

Given :-

Mass = 3000 kg

Velocity = 60 km/h

To Find :-

Kinetic energy

Solution :-

We know that

1 km/h = 5/18 m/s

60 km/h = 60 × 5/18 = 50/3 =

Now

KE = 1/2 mv²

KE = 1/2 × 3000 × (50/3)²

KE = 1/2 × 3000 × 2500/9

KE = 1 × 1500 × 2500/9

KE ≈ 416667 J
