• First take a ruler and measure the distance of the line EF lying on the map.
• Then, check the magnification of the map to help you.
• Note: if magnification is not mentioned then take distance of points that you already know. For example distance from Delhi to Mumbai. Divide Actual/Measure to get the magnification.
