(i) Water (H2O)

We know ,

  • G.M.M. of H2O = 2×1g + 16g = 18g

Mass of 1mole water = 18g

Mass of 4.5mole water = 18g×4 = 81g

(ii) Sodium carbonate (Na2CO3)

We know ,

  • G.M.M. of Na2CO3 = 2 × 23g + 12g + 3× 16g =46g + 12 + 48 = 106g

Mass of 1mole Na2CO3 = 106g

∴ Mass of 4.5mole Na2CO3 = 4.5 × 106g = 477g
