= 3.6 × 10³ J

let before three months, metre reading is 5677
and after three months , metre reading is 5728
in three months , my friends family used electricity = (5828 - 5677) = 151 units .
rate of 1 unit in their area = 6 Rs/unit
so, amount of money = rate of electricity × total units used by his family.
= 6 × 151 = 906 Rs.
hence, amount of electricity bill = 906 Rs.
but some amount also include , e.g., late charge, maintenance charge, etc...
