In our locality, there has great importance of NGO like it helps for economic development, women, child development, empowerment, education and awareness of its citizens.
For this reason different company’s collaboration is there by which our NGO can able to maintain their coordination and do their work in a proper manner.
NGO means Non Governmental Organization which has some special styles and features also.
In 2005, the non-profit NGO ‘Siruthuli’ was founded in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, to save the drying water bodies, lakes and rivers. ‘Siruthuli’ in Tamil means ‘a small drop’.
It consisted of a few socially conscious corporate companies and they worked hard to motivate and encourage the population of Coimbatore to come together and save the dying rivers and lakes. This public movement gradually grew, to include and address the other environmental issues facing the city. However, addressing problems related to water, continues to be the main focus of ‘Siruthuli’.
