Solution:

Refer attachment there are 3 attachments

  1. In C2H5Cl there are 7 sigma bond, zero pi bond and 3 lone pair
  2. In CH2 there are 2 sigma bond, zero pi bond and 1 lone pair
  3. In CH3—CH= CH2 there are 9 sigma bond, 1 pi bond and zero lone pair

Knowledge Booster:

  • In a compound, single bond is called sigma bond
  • In double bond, one is sigma bond and other is pi bond
  • In triple bond, there are one sigma bond and two pi bond
  • Sigma bond is strong bond and pi bond is weak bond
  • Sigma bond is less reactive than pi bond while pi bond is more reactive
  • Sigma bond has axial or heed overlapping while pi bond has lateral overlapping of orbital
