Find out the reason for a small population in sikkim and lakshadweep

Being a sikkimese, I would say here in our state, marriage happens in different age variations, like some before 20’s, some 20 to 25 and some 30 to 35 mostly, here. I have noticed people in Sikkim marry quite above 28.

So with these variations, what happens is, already Sikkim has a very minimal population and the birth and death ratio gets averaged out.

Thus making it lowest populated since a long time.
