Find out the total number of eligible voters in your assembly constituency and your parliamentary constituency. Find out how many people can fit into the largest stadium in your area. Is it possible for all the voters in your parliamentary or assembly constituency to sit together and have a meaningful discussion?

There are around 3.5 lac eligible voters in our constituency.
Eden garden, the largest stadium in our area can hold around 90,000 people.
Obviously, its not at all possible for all voters to sit together physically and decide about their future. Its physically impossible to properly accommodate such a large number of people and also morally disturbing.
There may be many disruption, disagreements and even fights.
Every person has a different point of view and it's not at all intelligent to have every voter to directly participate in taking the decisions of the country.
Also, every voter may not have the required quality or desire to participate in it.
