2) Indirect taxes are the taxes which the government charges from the citizens through firms or organisations like Sales tax, service tax, custom duty on goods purchased from outside India, Excise duty, Value Added Tax (VAT)

3) Other Taxes: These taxes are extracted from both- direct and indirect taxes. For example: Swacch Bharat Cess, Entertainment tax etc
