Find out three numbers lying between
 \frac{2}{3}
and
 \frac{3}{4}

 \frac{1}{2}  \times ( \frac{2}{3}  +  \frac{3}{4} )

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times ( \frac{2}{3}  \times  \frac{4}{4}  +  \frac{3}{4}  \times  \frac{3}{3} )

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times ( \frac{8}{12}  +  \frac{9}{12} )

 =  \frac{1 }{2}  \times ( \frac{8 + 9}{12} ) \: (as \: denominators \: are \: same)

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{17}{12}

 =  \frac{17}{24} ...............(i)

2:-

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times  (\frac{17}{12}  +  \frac{3}{4} )

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times ( \frac{17}{24}  +  \frac{3}{4}  \times  \frac{6}{6} )

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times ( \frac{17}{24}  +  \frac{18}{24} )

  = \frac{1}{2}  \times ( \frac{17 + 18}{24} )

  = \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{35}{24}

  = \frac{35}{48} ..................(ii)

3:-

 \frac{1}{2}  \times ( \frac{35}{48}  +  \frac{3}{4})

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times ( \frac{35}{48}  +  \frac{3}{4}  \times  \frac{12}{12} )

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times ( \frac{35}{48} +  \frac{36}{48} )

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times ( \frac{71}{48} )

 =  \frac{71}{96}.........(iii)
