Tropical rain forests are located around and near the equator, therefore it is called an equatorial climate.
Some of the types of the tropical forests are :-
Moist seasonal tropical forest:-receive high overall rainfall with a warm summer wet season and a cooler winter dry season,
Montane rain forests-found in cooler-climate mountainous areas ,
Flooded rain forests:-found in Amazon basin (the Várzea)
