As we know that angle on a straight line is 180º.

Therefore,

Interior angle of quadrilateral will be connected to angle y will be (180º−y).

As we know that sum of all the interior angles of a quadrilateral is 360º.

Therefore,

115º+85º+97º+(180º−y)=360º

⇒180º−y=360º−297º

⇒y=180º−63º=117º

Hence value of y is 117.
