Find out what open - heart surgery is and why it is used. How is it different from beating - heart surgery? Find out which kind of surgery is preferred nowadays and list the reason why it is preferred. ​

beating heart surgery is when the heart is directly operated. An open heart surgery is a much more complex surgery in which the arteries and the veins are connected to a separate machine which control the blood flow and the heart is stopped.

Open heart surgery is more preffered these days.
