Polar bears and penguins are the animals of Snow. Both of the animals are found in the areas of extremely cold weather. The habitats of these two animals are the two opposite snowy edges of the world. Polar bears live on the Arctic region whereas penguins live on the Antarctic region of the world.
Polar bears live along the coastal areas of the sea. They also love to swim under cold water. But the one place where they love to live is on the ice bed (thick sheets of ice). These ice beds provide them a platform to hunt. But as the climate is warming, ice beds are disappearing.
Penguins require habitat where nature provides them food, shelter and chance of reproduction. Most of the species of the penguins spend 80% of theirs lives under water. However, some live beside the sea and the feathers on their body protect them from wind and low temperature. The habitat of the penguins is not always cold. Some can also live in warm and temperate areas.

The polar bears and the penguins are animals that are found primarily in Polar habitats. It means they live in places that are frozen and close to the poles of the Earth. The polar bears live near the Northern Pole in the Arctic and the penguins live in the Southern Pole in Antarctica.
Both the animals have developed attributes to adapt themselves to their habitat. While the penguins are attuned to colours of the sea to protect themselves from predators, the polar bears are white and furry that makes them one with their surroundings.
Both the animals eat fish. Both have a layer of fat under their skin. Both have black coloured skin to absorb the heat energy that keeps them warm in the cold region.
