The statue is considered as world's tallest statue.
The height of statue is (597 ft) 182 metres.
It is situated in Kevadiya (Gujarat).
It was founded as a memorial to Sardar Patel. Sardar Patel was an independence activist and became the first Deputy prime minister and home minister of independent India.
Sarder Petel was very respected among the masses for his contribution in the independence movement.

There is a very busy chowk in my village. We find there a statue of Subhash Chandra Bose and hence this chowk is known as Subhash Chowk. Subhash Chandra Bose was such a great person that he dared to challenge the British empire by forming his own army. He is now no more but his statue is there to inspire us. Its purpose is to encourage the youth to do something different and challenging.
