The states of Tamilnadu, Rajasthan, Karnataka and West Bengal are good producers of silk. Whereas the states of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh are good producers . Kashmir produces a special type of wool which is known as the pashmina wool from the goat of Kashmir.
