Answer:

p(y)= {y}^{2} -2y+1

p(0)= {0}^{2} -2y+1

 = - 2y + 1

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

p(1)= {1}^{2} -2y+1

 = 1 - 2y + 1

 = 2 - 2y

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

p(2)= {2}^{2} -2y+1

 = 4-2y+1

 = 5 - 2y

Answer:

p(y) : y² - 2y + 1

Case I where p(0) means y = 0

  • 0² + 2(0) + 1
  • 0 + 0 + 1
  • 1

Case II where p(1) means y = 1

  • 1² - 2(1) + 1
  • 1 - 2 + 1
  • 2 - 2
  • 0

Case III where p(2) means y = 2

  • 2² - 2(2) + 1
  • 4 - 4 + 1
  • 0 + 1
  • 1
