Step-by-step explanation:

p(x) = 10x – 4x^2–3

p(0) = 10(0) - 4(0)² - 3 = -3

p(1) = 10(1) - 4(1)² - 3 = 10 - 4 - 3 = 3

p(-2) = 10(-2) - 4(-2)² - 3 = -20 - 16 - 3 = -39

p(y) = (y + 2)(y – 2)

p(0) = (0 + 2)(0 - 2) = 2(-2) = -4

p(1) = (1 + 2)(1 - 2) = 3(-1) = -3

p(-2) = (-2 + 2)(-2 - 2) = 0(-4) = 0
