p(0)=(0-1)(0+1)=(-1)
p(1)=(1-1)(1+1)=0
p(2)=(2-1)(2+1)=1*2=2

i hope this helps!!

Step-by-step explanation:

The given polynomial is

p(x)=x 2 −x+1

∴p(2)=2 2 −2+1=3

[replacing x by 2]

p(1)=1 2 −1+1=1

[replacing x by 1]

p(0)=(0) 2−(0)+1=1

[replacing x by 0].
