Find p (0), p (-2) for the Polynomial -

p (z) = 2z^3 + 5z^2 - 6z - 5

Answer:

The Value of the Polynomial p (z) at z = 0 is (-5)

the Value of the Polynomial p (z) at z = (-2) is 11

Given :

p (z) = 2z^3 + 5z^2 - 6z - 5

at z = 0; p (0) = 2 (0)^3 + 5 (0)^2 - 6 (0) - 5

= 2 (0) + 5 (0) - 6 (0) - 5

= 0 + 0 - 0 - 5

= -5

at z = (-2); p (-2) = 2 (-2)^3 + 5 (-2)^2 - 6 (-2) - 5

= 2 (-8) + 5 (4) - 6 (-2) - 5

= -16 + 20 + 12 - 5

= 11
