we have p(y)= (y+2) (y-2)
substituting y=0, 1and -2 respectively in (2) we get
p(0)= (0+2) (0-2)= -4
p(1)=(1+2) (1-2) = -3
and p(-2) = (-2+2) (-2-2) =0
hence the value of p(0) p(1) and
p (-2) are -4,-3 and 0
