Find p(0), p(–2), for the polynomials

p(y) = (y + 2) (y – 2)

Answer:

(i) p(0) = (0+2)(0-2)

= (2)(-2) = -4

(ii) p(-2) = (-2+2)(-2-2)

(0)(-4) = 0

Answer:

put y=0 and solve the equation...it will give p(0)= -4....

put y=-2..it will give p(-2)=0
