p(-1) = 7(-1) - 4(-1)^2

= (-7) -4

= (-11)

p(2) = 7(2) - 4(2)^2

= 14 - 16

= (-2)

p (-1) + p(2) = (-11) - 2

= (-11-2)

= (-13)
