20-2 (5-p)=8

-2 (5-p)=-12

(5-p)=6

-p=1

p=-1

$= 20 - 2(5 - p) = 8$

$= 20 - 10 + 2p = 8$

$= 10 + 2p = 8$

$= 2p = 8- 10$

$= 2p = - 2$

$= p = \frac{ - 2}{2}$
