(2p+1),13,(5p-3) are in A.P
then
13 - 2p - 1 = 5p - 3 - 13
28 = 7p
thus p = 4

      if { 2p+1},13,{5p-3} are three consecutive terms of an A.P ,then

we need to find p=?

we know that the common differences is same in a.p,

so,

    13-{2p+1}={5p-3}-13

      13+13=5p-3+2p+1

        26=7p-2

        7p=28

         p=28/7

           p=4

                         hence the value of p is 4.
