then we get

then subtract both eqn
we get 34=17y
y=34/17
y=2
then put value of y in eqn i
we get
8x+ 6= 30
8x=30-6
8x=24
x=24/8
x=3
then put values in
y=px-2
2=3p-2
2+2=3p
4/3=p
