We know that the each angle of square is 90°

then,

(BD)² = (AB)² + (AD)²

we know that the all side of a square is equal

hence,

(BD)² = (AB)² + (AB)² { Bcoz all sides are equal }

BD = √2(AB)²

BD is given 10√2

10√2 = AB √2

Then,

AB = 10

And we need to find the Perimeter of Square

And the Formula of calculating perimeter of Square is 4a , ( here, a = side of Square )

And Above we Calculate the side of Square which is 10

then the perimeter of Square is

4*10

= 40
