The perimeter of the square is 40 cm.

Given data :

The diagonal of the square = 10✓2 cm

Let,the side of the square = a cm

According to the Pythagoras theorem ;

a²+ a² = (10✓2)²

2a² = 200

a² = 100

a = 10

Perimeter = (4×10) = 40 cm (answer)
