Answer:

Given:

Length of the rectangle is 5cm more than twice of its breadth.

To find:

Perimeter of the rectangle

SOLUTION:

Let, breadth of the rectangle= xcm

Length of the rectangle = 2×x+5= (2x+5)cm

Area of the rectangle: (b) = 2x^2+5=1950

  • 2x^2+5-1950=0

By quadratic formula:

Refer the above attachment

We got x= 30

Then, breadth of the rectangle= 30cm

Length of the rectangle = (2x+5) = 65cm

perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l+b)

  • 2(65+30)
  • 2(95)
  • 190cm

So, perimeter of the rectangle=190cm
