It is a combination of a rectangle & a semicircle.

we know,

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

= 2×(2 + 4)

=12.

perimeter of semicircle = π r

=π × 1

=π cm

Total perimeter = 12 +π= 12+ 3.14 = 15.14cm

We have to subtract 2 CM as it is included in semicircle & rectangle.

Hence the answer is = 15.14- 2 = 13.14 cm

Thanks for a2a & for free points

almas231: This answer is wrong
almas231: In book 13.14 cm is given
Leelasatya3: Then subtract 2 CM as some length is Included in both semicircle & rectangle
Leelasatya3: I didnt see that
Leelasatya3: My answer was for combining the individual perimeters
almas231: Ok
almas231: But thankyou for answer
