Answer:

Given - p(x) = x^2-x+ 1

To find - p(1) , p(2)

solution -

putting value of p(1) in the equation

p (1) = 1^2 + - 1+ 1

p(1) = 1-1+ 1

p(1) = 0+ 1

p(1) = 1

putting value of p(2) in the equation

p(2)= 2^2 - 2+ 1

p(2)= 4- 2+ 1

p(2)= 2+ 1

p(2)= 3

Hence , p(1)= 1 and p(2)= 3

 \displaystyle \: P(x)=x²-x+1

 \displaystyle \: P(0)=0²-0+1 = 1

 \displaystyle \: P(1)=1²-1+1 = 1 - 1 + 1 = 1

 \displaystyle \: P(x2)=2²-2+1 = 4 - 2 + 1 = 3
