The points on y - axis lies on the locus represented by equation 3x² - 5xy + 6y² - 54 = 0

we know, x - co-ordinate on Y-axis = 0

so, put x = 0 in given equation,

e.g., 3(0)² - 5(0)y + 6y² - 54 = 0

or, 6y² - 54 = 0

or, 6(y² - 9) = 0

or, y² = 9

or, y = ± 3

hence, (0, 3) and (0, -3) are the points on y - axis lies on the locus represented by equation 3x² - 5xy + 6y² - 54 = 0
