Hi friend,

First we need to convert dyne to N as unit of force is newton.

F= 20×10^-5

A= 15cm²
A= 15×10^4m²

Pressure = force/area

Pressure= 20×10^-5/15×10^4

Pressure = 1.33×10^-9 pascal.

Hope this helped you a little!!!

Dyne : is the force which when applied to a body of mass one gram produces an acceleration of 1cm/s^2.

Newton : is the force which when applied to a body of mass one kilogram produces an acceleration of 1m/s^2.

By dimensional analysis in the attachment we can Say :

\maltese \: 1dyne =  {10}^{ - 5} newton

\maltese \: \blue{\mid{\underline{\overline{\textbf{Coming to question :-}}}\mid}}

In this question we have been given that 20dyne force is applied on a body of 15cm^2 area, pressure on object is not known. We have to calculate the pressure .

\maltese \: p = force \div area

Now, 1dyne = 10^-5N

\maltese \: 20dyne = 20 \times  {10}^{ - 5} n

Since area is 15 cm × cm

Therefore It is : 15 × 100 × 100m

= 15 × 10^4 m^2.

Now,the pressure on object is :

\mapsto \:  \frac{20 \times  {10}^{ - 5} }{15 \times  {10}^{4} }

 = 1.33 \times  {10}^{ - 9} pa

Therefore pressure on body is 1.33 × 10^-9pa.
