(x+4)(x+10)
= x²+(4+10)x + 4×10
= x² + 14x + 40

→.Formula used: (a+b) (a+c)= a²+(b+c)a+ab

If we Factorise it then↓
x² + 14x + 40
= x²+(10+4)x+40
= x²+10x+4x+40
=x(x+10)+4(x+10)
=(x+10)(x+4)
