Let SP = x

Therefore, CP = 3/5 x or 3x/5

Therefore, SP is greater than CP, there is a gain

Gain = SP - CP

Gain = x - 3x/5

5x/5 - 3x/5 = 2x / 5

Gain% = Gain / CP * 100

{(2x/5) / (3x/5)} * 100

(2x/5) * (5/3x) * 100

2/3 * 100

200/3 % = 66.67% gain

Hello

CP=3/5th of SP=3*SP/5=3SP/5=0.6SP

We all know that whole is greater than part.

CP is a part of whole i.e.SP.So SP is greater than CP

So,Profit=SP-CP

=SP-0.6SP

=SP-0.6SP

Profit=Rs.0.4SP

Profit%=Profit/CP*100

=O.4SP/0.6SP*100

=0.66..*100

=66.6%

Therefore Profit %=66.6%

Hope it helps you...
