Find Q if tan 2Q = cot(Q- 24)​

we know that ,

tan Q = cot (90° - Q)

=> so , tan 2Q = cot (90° - 2Q)

so ,

tan 2Q = cot (Q - 24°)

=> cot (90° - 2Q) = cot (Q - 24°)

=> 90° - 2Q = Q - 24°

( as if tan theta = tan alpha

then , we can conclude that , theta = alpha )

=> 90° + 24° = 114° = 3Q

=> 114°/3 = 38° = Q
