Let,
A^p = B^q = C^r = K
A = K^1/p B = K^1/q C = K^1/r
Now given,
B^2 = AC
(K^1/q)^2 = K^1/p * K^1/r
K^2/q = K^p+r/pr
Therefore, => 2/q = p+r/pr
=> 2 = (p+r)q/pr
=> q = 2pr/p+r (PROVED)
