Find quadratic Polynomial whoes zero is 2and -6

Solution:-

Given zeroes of polynomial are 2,-6

{ \sf{ \alpha  = 2 }}

{ \sf{ \beta  =  - 6}}

We have to find sum of zeroes and products of zeroes

{ \sf{ \alpha  +  \beta  = 2 + ( - 6) = 2 - 6 =  - 4}}

Sum of zeroes= -4

{ \sf{ \alpha  \times  \beta  = 2 \times  - 6 =  - 12}}

Product of zeroes= -12

Quadratic polynomial

{ \implies{ \sf{ {x}^{2} - ( \alpha  +  \beta )x  + ( \alpha  \times  \beta ) }}}

{  \to{ \sf{ {x}^{2} - ( - 4)x + ( - 12) }}}

{ \to{ \sf{ {x}^{2}  + 4x - 12 }}}

{ \therefore{ \sf{ {x}^{2}  + 4x - 12  \: \: is \: the \: polynomial}}}
