let Alpha=1/2 and Beta=1/3

therefore, sum of the roots,

Alpha+Beta

=1/2+1/3

=3+2/6

=5/6

Now product of the roots,

=Alpha×Beta

=1/2×1/3

=1/6

therefore,

x²-(alpha+beta) x+alpha×beta

By substituting the values we get,

x²- 5/6x+1/6=0

Therefore,

Required quadratic polynomial is,

x²-5/6x+1/6=0
