in series combination of resistors ,

Ra+Rb+Rc....+Rn=R eq

So, R3+R2+R5=Req (1)

In parallel combination of resistors ,

1/Ra+1/Rb...+1/Rn=1/R eq

1/R1+1/R4+1/R6=1/R eq

Req= R1+R4+R6 (2)

Add both the equations ,

R1+R2+R3+R4+R5+R6=R eq
